Abarán Mayor, Antonio Eugenio Gómez, and the government representative, Rafael González Tovar, visited the works being undertaken in the municipality under the Local Investment Fund and are almost completed.
The first visit was carried out works of rehabilitation of a property to the Commissioner of Police in the village of Hoya del Campo with a budget of EUR 57,559.20 and will employ four people.
The works carried out consist of the refurbishment of the ground floor office to the public, and the adequacy of the first floor for offices, locker rooms and other units of local police.
They also visited the works of replacing street pavement Peña in the hamlet of San José Artesano which has a budget of 126,790.35 euros and employs 14 people.
Among the projects is the street lighting to be held in Hoya del Campo, Sale Aurora, Cieza road (MU 512), San José Artesano and several streets of the town with an investment of EUR 299,951.85 and also employs 14.
The Government Delegate, with the mayor of Abarán also visited the refurbishment, restoration, replanting and maintenance of municipal gardens called Verdeabarán in which the Plan invests 50,288.32 euros and employs 4 people.

Gomez visited another of the important work that the Government of Spain, through the Ministry of Public Works with a charge of 1% Cultural, as is the work of the famous Ponte Vecchio, declared of Cultural Interest.
González Tovar reported that the City of Abarán will carry out nine projects funded under the Local Investment Fund for a total of 2,295,183.99 euros, which have created 106 jobs, 32, 50% more than the 80 originally planned.
These works were selected by the City of Abarán and subsequently approved by the Government Delegation, first, and the then Ministry of Public Administration, later.
