The football team of local police in the region this morning visited the Place of Abarán paternoster lifts to raise awareness of the team that will compete in the World Games of Policemen and Firemen held in Vancouver (Canada) from 30 July to 9 August.

The selection, consisting of 17 players from different municipalities of the Autonomous Region, has been received by the Councillor for Sports, Federico García Montiel, and Councilman Police, José Gómez Carrasco.

Abarán City Council has agreed to collaborate in this event in order to support the promotion of sport.

Morote was selected to participate in this competition, as did other members of the Local Police of the municipality.
