Abarán Mayor, Antonio Eugenio Gómez, and the Secretary of State for Security Antonio Camacho Vizcaino, have signed a collaboration agreement between the Ministry of Interior, through the Directorate General of Police and Civil Guard and the City Council Abarán safety.

Under this MOU, the Ministry of Interior and the Municipality of Abarán consider public safety as one of the pillars of the welfare society and combat insecurity priority estimate from the respective governments, with a joint and coordinated action to through a global plan of collaboration between the Guardia Civil and Local Police of that municipality, brings together the tools necessary for that purpose.

Accessing databases

Necessary formulas will be enabled or be enhanced existing ones to facilitate access and consultation by the respective police forces to police data banks.

Joint police communications

Will promote the integration of the two police forces in 112 emergency services, setting up a technical system of operations that permits the transfer of calls to the chambers of 062 and 092.

Will proceed to the intercom of the Boards 062 and 092, through technical procedures to enable call forwarding and automated exchange of communications records, without prejudice to the personal presence of the Guardia Civil and Local Police between the respective Salas.

Will facilitate the joint use of frequencies for certain police communications on the occasion of establishment of specific devices or extraordinary in a coordinated manner involving the Guardia Civil and Local Police Corps.

Thus, the exchange of information between law enforcement and the City of Abarán foster the improvement of security and public assistance.

Office of Citizen Complaints and

With the ultimate aim of enabling improved service delivery to citizens, will promote the joint use of offices and Citizen Complaints, in order to optimize human resources shared services compatible with the service.

Local Security Board

Local Security Board provides the framework competent in their territory, to establish the forms and procedures for cooperation and coordination of security policies at the municipal level, ensuring cooperation and coordination of the various police forces.
