Old Town Square was the scene on Monday of the representation of the Arrest of Christ, led this year by David Saorin Candel.
The setting for the staging and 50 amateur actors cast as part of Order of Arrest and the Horn delighted the large audience gathered at the site, about 1000 people.
On this occasion are performances by Joaquin Barranco Fernandez, who plays Jesus of Nazareth, the character of Caiaphas, played by James Jesus Martinez as well as the performance of José Antonio Ros López, in the role of Judas.
The three main performers of the work marked the rate of representation, where emotion and feelings of love and hatred are present at all times along with the exaltation of human values.
The excellent atmosphere and good coordination of all the cast created an atmosphere where reality is mixed with the evocation of the divine, involving the public.
The representation takes place every Easter Monday since 2004.

With these words, accompanied by the sound of the horn announcing the search for Jesus of Nazareth to arrest him.
In Abarán, Easter Monday night, the horn part from the Plaza de la Zarzuela at 22.00 hours, covering the main streets of the town to complete its journey in the Plaza Vieja.
It is in this place they are acting out the scenes of the Arrest of Jesus through the participation and involvement of a company of amateur actors, their enthusiasm and this year under the direction of David Saorin Candel, delighted the audience with his performance.
At the request of the Board of Fraternity Pasionarias, Professor José Gil García wrote a stage adaptation of the Gospel texts that exalt the act of Holy Monday Horn, formerly represented and from the year '40 as an advertisement for the search of Jesus the Romans.
The Royal Brotherhood of Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno and Third of Romans began to represent this announcement was gradually relegated to second place, losing followers.
In order to give impetus to cultural and tourist Order of Arrest and Horn, born in 2004 represented on the scenes of the Arrest of Christ that is staged every year in the Plaza Vieja.
About 60 actors are part of the company in 2008 expanded its repertoire with another act entitled "Caiaphas and Annas."
The staging is supported by an audiovisual which commemorates the baptism of Jesus and the Sermon on the Mount, scenes that were recorded in natural landscapes Jarral, the Source of Benito and Sierra del Oro, landscapes that evoke and remind us the city of Jerusalem.
In addition, the Board of Fraternity Pasionarias offers the possibility to anyone who wishes to participate in this work as people pin on the only requirement being to reach the Old Town Square half an hour before the performance and wearing the robes of any fraternity.
The script was collected and published in a book released last year at St. Paul's Church on Palm Sunday.
