On Wednesday April 21 the activity took place "Literary Marathon" at the Neighborhood Community Center Virgen del Oro, the project "Promotion and revitalization of reading" that takes place in the municipality.
This activity for encouraging reading with the participation of children, mothers, neighbors and friends as well as the headman, Maria Luz Martinez, and José Francisco Fernández Gómez, head of the center.
Its development was to explain to children what a literary marathon and the meaning of the celebration of Book Week, as well as performing readings of authors and different books.
In total, there were 40 readings.
The technician in encouraging reading, Jesus J.
Cobarro Palazón, states that "the result was satisfactory in terms of participation and development initiative which is to be repeated on future occasions due to the acceptance that has been among the attendees."
